Switches are a type of track connection that allows trains to move from one track to another. Switches are divided into four main types:

Narrow-gauge and mining switch types: S 24, S 30, S 39, S 49

Types of switches used in the construction of narrow-gauge railway tracks:

ordinary, complex, symmetrical, curved and other non-standard ones.

Varieties: right and left

Slants: 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6

Radii: R=8, R=12, R=20, R=32

Gauges: from 470 mm to 1000 mm
